New to the EWC category after winning the FIM Superstock World Cup, the independent French team led by Patrick Enjolras performed very well in EWC, but often had bad luck. At the Bol d’Or, the team decided to stand up to the blows of fate. After an excellent start to the race among the first, with Alan Techer setting the fastest race lap, clocking 1: 53.707, a crash followed by engine problems brought Tati Team Beringer Racing down to the bottom of the standings.

It looked like Tati Team Beringer Racing would be forced to retire shortly before 7 a.m., but the team began to rebuild the engine in their Kawasaki ZX-10R. After a little more than 1h30 in the pits to get the bike back up and running, the Kawasaki # 4 returned to the track and finished 17th overall and 7th in the EWC category.
